I got engaged!
I asked her (Heather) Friday night (Jan 2nd) on the top of our hotel in Chicago overlooking Michigan Ave. It has been almost 5yrs since we started dating and it was time to pull the trigger. Friday was my 25th birthday and I told her that I wanted to go to Chicago for the weekend. It was an amazing weekend! Went to the Shedd Aquarium, out to dinner at the Chicago Chop House, and went and saw the Blue Man Group. Spent the night, and then did some shopping, and went to the top of the Sears Tower. Good times!

congrats dude! Any plans as to when you're getting married? Remember when you set the date... it comes faster than anything...
I got engaged just before last Christmas in 2007 and we are about 5 months from the big day! WOW. |

Thanks guys!
We are not going to set a date any time soon actually. She graduates from Pharmacy School March 6th, 2009 and immediately starts her new career. She landed a job as a Assistant Pharmacy Manager for Walmart right out of school. She will be a grad intern for a while till she passes her board and state exams so she will have a lot going on for a while (lots of studying!!). We want to get a house by the end of summer next year as well. So we figured to wait maybe a year and a half or so to let her get settled in at work, us to get a house and then we can figure out a budget and what not for a wedding. |

Yup! Starting at over 125k !! SCORE! Nice thing is that shes starting in a assistant manager position. So she gets management bonuses as well! I guess thats what 6 hard years of college and studying get you... |
